Fifth live partnership meeting in Slanic-Moldova
The Romania event, focused on data consulting analyses (WP5), concentrated on consolidating and analyzing survey data conducted by the consortium’s five partners in their respective communities. Over two days (July 4-5, 2023), workshops presented survey results in each country, covering citizens’ knowledge and involvement, information and cooperation between citizens and local communities, unique aspects of local communities in the EU diversity context, and citizens’ identification with EU values. Discussions revealed common needs, emphasizing interactions between citizens and local authorities, increased awareness of EU matters, and transparent consultations on key issues. Meetings in Slanic-Moldova involved citizens and civil society organizations in inclusive discussions about EU values and citizens’ participation. A tripartite round-table meeting with municipal representatives in Bacau county aimed at applied communication to address identified needs, fostering better citizen-local authority engagement through contextual assessments and result presentations.
